
Helen Wallace (Professor Dame Helen Wallace DBE, CMG, FBA) is an alumna of the College of Europe, where she taught for 25 years. She is an academic specialist on European integration, previously at LSE, the European University Institute, and the Sussex European Institute. She is a former Foreign Secretary of the British Academy.
Hon. Secretary Anthony Cary CMG was a career diplomat who served as Head of the FCO’s EU Department (Internal) 1992-95 and chef de cabinet to Chris Patten as European External Affairs Commissioner 1999-2003. He was later Ambassador to Sweden and High Commissioner to Canada. He is currently Chairman of the Canada-UK Council.
Hon. Treasurer: James Denman is the son of Sir Roy Denman KCB, CMG. Sir Roy was Director-General for External Affairs at the European Commission 1977-82 and Head of the Delegation of the European Communities in Washington, D.C. 1982-89. He has dual UK/German citizenship and was until recently CFO of a German passenger rail company. Day-to-day financial administration lies with George Hay & Company, Chartered Accounts (contact Michael Davis).
Moya Denman (Lady Denman) co-founded Brunat in memory of her late husband; she is active in local affairs in Chelsea, London.
Martin Donnelly (Sir Martin Donnelly, KCB, CMG) was a British former senior civil servant, most recently until March 2017 Permanent Secretary of the Department for International Trade. He is an alumnus of the College.
Tim Gordon is an alumnus of the College of Europe. He has worked at the Financial Times, the Boston Consulting Group and in various corporate roles. He was Chief Executive of the Liberal Democrats and now works in the tech sector.
Marie Louise Kinsler (Marie Louise Kinsler QC) is an alumna of the College of Europe. She is a barrister practising in EU and private international law. She has also taught EU law at the University of Cambridge and is frequently invited to speak on her field of practice at academic events in the UK and abroad.
Richard Washington (the Rev. Richard Washington) is a former student at the Natolin campus where he then worked for 9 years. He is now an ordained Anglican minister serving in the Diocese of Norwich.
